ABOUT JILL
Jill Harris, Attorney
I’m Jill Harris the founder of Harris Consumer Law. I help consumers solve problems so they can quit worrying and get back to what matters most. I’m not like most attorneys, I’m down to earth and I like to think outside the box. Most of my clients are frustrated with reoccurring car problems or they’re buried in debt and worried if their wages will be garnished. However, what most consumers do not realize is they’re not alone, there’s help. I fight on the behalf of consumers to protect their interests against automobile manufacturers, car dealers, banks and debt collectors.
Biography
Jill Harris is lead counsel and founding attorney of Harris Consumer Law. Clients are never passed off to a paralegal or assistant, each case is personally handled by Jill. She specializes in Lemon Law, Automobile Fraud and Consumer Finance.
When you take on a corporation, you’re setting yourself up for a David and Goliath battle. That’s why Jill’s motto is “Don’t go into battle alone”. She knows that many consumers are not in the position to take on large corporations.
Prior to founding Harris Consumer Law, Jill worked as a lead attorney where she settled hundreds of Lemon Law cases. From 2011-2016, she was employed at the law office of Baker and Farris, LLC as a litigation associate where she practiced civil litigation, focusing on real property disputes and consumer bankruptcy.
Jill is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and served on the Board of Directors for the Community Housing & Improvement Program for three years. She is a recipient of California State University, Chico’s Outstanding Alumni Award, and holds a Juris Doctor from Cal Northern School of Law where she received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. Jill has Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Chico.
About My Family
I’m a mother of four adult children. Raising them to become the people they are today is my greatest accomplishment. I spend my leisure time enjoying simple pleasures such as cooking, gardening, thrift store shopping, and last but certainly not least, hugging and kissing my grandson, Hampton.
ABOUT RIMA
Rima Yegiazaryan, Paralegal
Rima joined Harris Consumer Law in 2020. Her delightful manner coupled with her focus on providing excellent client service and care is an invaluable asset. If you need a ride home after surrendering your Lemon vehicle-Rima is there. Even if your surrender had to happen in Las Vegas-Yes, that happened-and she was there.
Rima is the first person you will encounter, and often the last, after your case has been resolved. Initially she will guide you through what to expect during your consultation with Jill. She will listen to your undoubtedly frustrating ‘Lemon’ story, give you an overview of the process, ensure that your documents are gathered, and then schedule your consultation.
At Harris Consumer Law, customer satisfaction is the goal. Rima’s dedication to providing excellent service and up-to-date status of your case has earned her praise from clients and opposing counsel for being extremely thorough and easy to work with.
Rima graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and associate degrees in social science and administration of justice.
In her spare time, you will find Rima cooking for family and friends and wine tasting.
